I live in South Devon, England, in a small seaside town. I do several volunteer jobs for local good causes . I enjoy being an aunt to my nephew and niece.

I am after a long term pen pal I can write snail mail letters with regularly. I love to write and receive letters. I am after someone who will write back quite often. I love learning about new places and cultures. I am NOT after romance and I NEVER send money. I do NOT video chat either. I love emailing and writing letters, but I do not do video chat and am not an English teacher.

I like the films of the Japanese animation team Studio Ghibli such as Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. I like the comedy trilogy by Simon Peg and Nick Frost including Hot Fuzz. I have had a life long love of musicals including The Slipper and the Rose, West Side Story and My Fair Lady. I love animation such as Corpse Bride, UP, Antz and Mega Mind. I also like the Monty Python films of The Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

I enjoy drama such as Call the Midwife and Doctor Who. I like animated comedy like Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama. I like some American sit-com such as The Big Bang Theory. I like classic British comedy such as Black Adder, Porridge and Black Books. I also enjoy some comedy panel games such as QI. I like some documentaries too

I like the works of Bill Bryson such as Notes From a Small Island. I like Terry Pratchett's Disc World novels. I like Thomas Hardy novels such as Far From the Madding Crowd. I like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. I enjoy the Brentford Trilogy series of books by Robert Rankin. The works of Caitlin Moran such as 'How To Be A Woman'. I also enjoy reading plays. I read non-fiction as well, I especially enjoy history. Currently into sci-fi and Mike Brooks.
