But as a rule of thumb, I like any well-written movie... though I have a clear preference toward epics and comedies :D

They change over time, but I must say that the one and only Merlin holds a very special place in my heart.
As for anime, the best I have ever watched are Legend of the Galactic Heroes (the 1988 version) and Monster.

I have read so many books, yet the ones that left the strongest impact are the Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. And a short novel: The Red Room, by Herbert George Wells
