About Me
Earth to me? Ah!!! Earth to me! People, nature, yes! Such beautiful things! Don't you feel smiling to a picture is odd or forced? It feels much more natural to smile to remotely anything else but in front of this oddly brilliant invention of människa.

Smiling to a sunset for instance or to a person we like and feel weirdly goofy about; how about the smile describing the sense of wonder when we hear a beautiful music that transcends country barriers and languages? Let's not forget the half smile after tasting something delicious! When the universe also comes to you and surprises you with a pleasant statement, you get excited and then... you smile yet again, a smile of felicity! The smile when you smell the change of seasons, the homebaked cinnamon cookies, the fragrances and perfumes of various houses and people!

Anyhow. The point of all this is to say I like smiles, smiles are inwardly human and the soul of people, but sadly, I do not like to smile on photographs. Photographic smiles are fabricated just like these smiles from most politicians. I guess you can capture a sense of eternity through smiles from a photograph, but these days with social media, these smiles don't say much.

I want to see behind the masks people wear around their social impediments! Raw authenticity! The greatest gift one can give to another!

Never judge people. We all have something to give but I ain't giving you a smile that is inauthentic to me.

Basically, I am the smiling homo sapiens that love the human experience through smiles and sharing other than through photographs.
Requests
Anyone that loves to discuss various things and is passionate about life like myself! If you can help me with my Swedish only during the summer season, it would be greatly appreciated
Language Exchange Requests
Je peux vous aider avec votre français, mais soyez avisé que mon français provient du Canada. C'est très différent du français de la France dit « standard » ou « correct ».

I would like to tame and try to speak properly the difficult accentuated up and down Swedish language, but time is such a pain in the ass. I am still dedicated to learning it though if someone wants to help me. The language is just too beautiful to the ear.
Hobbies & Interests
Researching and developing ideas. Composing music. Writing. (I am almost social at times hehe when I have an earth incoming signal where my interpal nickname lies). Running. (close but no cigars). Running with people (see?). Badminton (voila).

I would like to try yoga, dancing, kayaking and fencing. Yoga to be able to not feel like a tin can human being; dancing for the challenge being present in the moment and attempt to receive more earthincoming signals cause of the penalty of possible stumbling and mild embarrassment; kayaking cause I have this weird fixation on a scary opened ocean cetaphobia quest and fencing cause come on, it looks cool.
Favorite Music
Music is my first language. Who said it had to be the French language! I dream in music and hear sounds pretty much all the time in my mind. I am not schizophrenic as far as I know.

I listen to practically everything but since I compose orchestral music, I have vast listening experience in la musique soi-disant savante. I do love a couple of composers especially Sibelius (the best), Ives the modern painter, Gesualdo the murderer and composer, Bach cause everyone needs to like him, Scriabin the crazy mystic that believed the end of the world would be in the Himalayas and would compose music for the occasion, Webern the atonal guy most people would say is "cat music", the over the top Mahler, the obsessed on necrophilia Bruckner, the meditative Feldman that transcends time, the ecstatic Messiaen, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner...

Ok you get the picture...

Film music I should say James Horner, a healthy dose of melancholy in him (Casper and Titanic soundtrack), Hans Zimmer (bring the beat), Jerry Goldsmith and Bernard Herrmann (older composers I highly recommend check them out).

As for non orchestral, I like everything that sounds good. I love especially trance music recently and bossa nova. There are some really good pop singers like Susumu Hirasawa, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Katy Bush, Barbra Streisand; bands like Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Rush so many... ad infinitum. Too long to state all.

Favorite Movies
Wait a moment for the sound, it will come!

I love good stories especially, less graphic movies with little story. Anything by Stanley Kubrick, old noir movies.

The movie Her made me think, I liked it; ex machina and artificial intelligence of the same genre were neat too.

Generally I love horror and drama movies best, but not these ghost predictable stories (removing almost half of horror movies).

Favorite TV Shows
Smallville, The OC, One Tree Hill were my childhood. The Haunting of Hill House was pretty good, but the ending quite disappointing. I want to try Black Mirror and the Strangers. Lost was my favorite tv show.

Favorite Books
Too many to enumerate but mostly whatever  scientific, artistic, literature, spiritual or philosophical book I have an interest in at the time
