As I spend almost all my holidays in England, I would like to meet people from England. But I'm also interested in corresponding with persons from all over the world.
Requests
I'm looking for friends and people to exchange opinions, ideas and beliefs with.
I only added the flirting and romance request in the unlikely event, that my soulmate should appear on interpals. But flirting and romance is not why I joined here.
Hobbies & Interests
My main interests are: photography, walking, reading, gardening, family, dancing, painting, food (I am a vegetarian, almost vegan), travelling, learning languages (I worked as an English-German translator), visiting museums and gardens, listening to radio comedies, such as "Dad's Army", "Alison and Maud" etc
Favorite Music
I listen to all kind of music and my favourites vary. Sometimes I listen to old favourites from my past, such as David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Leonard Cohen etc.
The only music I do not like is Jazz and Swiss (German/Austrian) folk music.

I do not have all time movie favourites, I have favourites at certain times of my life.
Such as "One flew over the cuckoo's nest", "Breakfast on Pluto", "Pride" (by Matthew Warchus), Ken Loach films...
