Sometimes I hate when that happens... but it just happens. And I don't care much about it. Besides, I even think that, if it weren't that way, I wouldn't be me. l feel guilty until someone else tells me I might not be a freak, haha.

I was reading something about Odd Thomas a moment ago. I've never heard of the authors you metioned, not even Dean Koontz, but they seem quite interesting. I'll try to read something by them sometime soon... For the moment I have a lot of books waiting for me! I tend to buy a lot of them, and sometimes I can't read that fast in order to finish them all on time... but I can't help it! It's just like coffee, I guess. I love to do it.

By the way, I also like to be surprised when I'm reading ;)

I like to write fiction, but it was poetry what dragged me into the uncertaing and sweet universe of literature... so let's say just "sometimes" I also write some "poems". But I'm working on narrative by the moment,
I really don't know much about sci fi, but I do like, lets say, the work of Isaac Asimov and Aldous Huxley. Do you have some authors to share? I'd be glad to know more about the subject.
Aaaaand, by "real, serious literature",,, well, not sure what I was trying to say, haha! Not precisely the old stuff. Just... literature, art pieces created on behalf of the inner need every artist feel to do what they do, not just because of the pursuit of fame and money... something like that I guess, What about you? What do you mean by modern? =)
