When my youngest was about to start school, she told me, "Dad, do you know how I make friends? I just say hello and tell them my name, and then we're friends..."

It's been a few years since then but she's still just as outgoing and social as when she first learned to make friends.

I enjoy the process of making things, gardening, restoring vintage items, and mechanical devices. I love books with a message, movies with meaning, and music that has soul. I like bookbinding, calligraphy, photography, and learning things that are new. I hike, I ride my bike, and like to explore new places.
