A gift for the African Queen

I would be a decorative chess set .
First I would make a chess board with its 64 black and white squares.
That would be the easy part .
The more difficult part would be carving 16 white and 15 black  pieces.


When the  guests  came to your palace they would marvel  ;
"Wow,  What a beautiful  chess set!"
  Noticing  that one piece appears to be missing they would say;
"It is shame that the black queen is missing."

And you would think to yourself;
"How is it that they are so blind and cannot see what is  right in front of them ?"

If it is a hunch don't munch is a mushroom hunters motto,
and I had been a bad boy  occasionally and munched on the hunch.
