Oh, my apologies! I tend to bookmark people for later and not actually message them.
My dad's family migrated to India from Bohemia with the Portuguese four hundred and twenty years ago, and I bear a Czech last name. My family stopped speaking Czech long ago but I'm extremely curious about this language and about your country.

I've tried learning it by myself but I haven't gotten very far - in India and here in Australia people only want to learn German, or French, or Chinese or Spanish.

Nice to see that you like history - which specific period are you interested in?
