NZ is good, but a little too small for me. I'm planning on moving to Europe at some stage next year :)

You've really never heard of it!!? Lol. It's a womans sport. I guess you can compare it to basketball.... You can't move with the ball though, and players are restricted to certain parts of the court. Ummm google it ;)

Hey Sean :) What's perked your interest in NZ, hmm? :) Well, I'm an Aussie, obviously, and the two lifestyles are similar but NZ is just a lil more challenging. I've always wanted to move to NZ but not anymore!

So in Oz our minimum wages start at $18.99, here in NZ they start at $13.00, and they pay more tax than we do in Oz too. In Oz we have a $6000 tax free threshold, in NZ there isn't, you pay tax for every dollar you earn.

Packaged food is almost double the price it is in Oz cuz it's all imported from Australia. Fruit and fresh produce is much cheaper than oz, on the other hand.

Fuel is at $1.99 a liter here - several months ago it got to a high of $2.22 a liter. In Oz, fuel is about $1.30 atm, so much cheaper.

On the other hand, buying a car and keeping a car on the road is definitely cheaper than Oz too.

Also the price of land. In Oz you can get 600 acres for $100,000 if you keep an eye open. Here in NZ land is so so much more expensive and you'll never find a cheapie like that hear. Land rates, also much cheaper than Oz.

As for the landscape, certainly NZ is much prettier! I haven't been around but I've seen it. But I would come to NZ to holiday, not to live.

That is all in an egg shell :)
