Hello Shivaraj from Kolhapur, India. I am Jonathan (or Jon) from Eastern Canada. I welcome you and ask you if you would be interested in becoming friend with me. I must tell you at the very start that India has ALWAYS been my most favourite country in the entire world. I had a Chemistry teacher in my Ninth Level, a Mr. Jaswant Rail Puri and we would stay after classes each day and he would tell me all about your magnificently beautiful country, its people, food, traditions, clothing and ever since that time my love for India and Indian people have grown as large and as high as the Himalayas. I have read over forty books on all aspects of your ancient, pre-British, British and modern history. Indian food is my favourite of all and the only rice I buy is grown in India. There are several Indian restaurants here and the food is great but I am sure it must be westernized a bit to suit our palates here so it must be excellent in your homeland and even better than here. I congratulate you on living in the most fabulous country in the world today. Like you, I am looking for good people to call my friend. I guess by saying good I mean someone who is honest, sincere, loyal, has a good sense of humour and he can also be serious at times to. Others, including myself, would describe me with the same words as I have used above but added to it would be kind hearted, open for any and all discussions, free minded, no ego (just like you) and much more but I don't want to sound like a politician running for a public office (ha, ha). As for energetic, I will let you decide on that after I have written down my interests. You had better sit down for this one (ha): swimming, water polo, sailing, canoeing, horseback riding, volleyball, archery, biking, table tennis (ping-pong) which is was college champ, badminton, camping, hiking, backpacking into the Canadian wilderness to sleep under the stars or in a lean-to or tent if it rains, to cook over an open fire, to explore where I camped, and to swim in two or three lakes close by. Books, movies and a few television shows. Sorry, I am not into electronics apart from pushing a button to turn something on or off and if it doesn't work, throw it out and get a new one (ha, ha). What do you do in electronics Shiva? Do you like your work? What do you do when you are not working, such as interests, hobbies, sports, going to movies, etc.? Let me say that I am here to build bridges between us rather than to create walls, but I have to be honest with you at the same time. I have a B.A. in Biblical Studies, a Masters in Divinity and a Doctorate in Divinity. Presently I am writing a thesis towards my Doctorate in Theology. Do not worry at all. I do not and will not stuff my beliefs down anyone's throat. It is just one part of who I am, not the complete me. I have so many other things going on that I want to find a common ground with you so that we can build a good, long lasting friendship for years to come. Important things in my lif
