just to start it off, nothing ever happens. it is so stable and safe. local news in my city is like "a deer got hit by a truck this morning". yeah, super-exiting. yes i get that i am really privileged with that but trust me, there are two sides to this coin. at least in my experience. when you live in this for 25 years even security, safety, stability becomes boring and useless.
but of course, that is just one of all reasons.
