Yes, you described it perfectly. That's why I love Black Metal. Inside the underground there are so many unfounded talent that just beg to be notoced. It takes the right amount of knowledge, open mindness and devotion to explore and find the many secrets inside. Profanum - this is just one of the many precious stones hidden in the underground cave among various, unknown and unexplored talent, ready for the emergence of the right mind.

I'm afraid not. I remember hearing the name of the band, and I'm sure it's on one of my "To check" lists. I listen to a lot of different bands a day. I will definitely check them, since you recommended it to me. If you do not mind, you can also send me an offer of an album or a song you like.

I have a recommendation for you. Something in the same spirit as Profanum. Desolation Triumphalis https://youtu.be/wRI4R0ERp20

Thanks! I try always to describe a lot of things that catch my eye or ears. Dagon is talented in one word. I can simply portray a tired, lost magician, traveling among dead, forgotten tombs and, it happens, to stumble upon a marvelous sarcophagus, where Dagon is resting inside. A weary traveler slides over the lid and touches a mummified corpse. Dagon awakens, and you are bombarded with a dry, croak like hoarse, vocal style, muttering satanic, forgotten doctrines in a similar composition, before he is buried in the tomb with which he awoke.

That is a story!

Yes, indeed! We are a rare breed in the states.

You are correct! I love in particular the album Profanum Aeternum - Eminence of Satanic Imperial Art. In this album
It incorporates little use of the guitar, what is mostly developed is the arcane, dungeon like atmosphere. It is incredible! Especially since I have a huge respect and love for Dark Ambient and Classical music in general. That album is 10/10. Immaculate, atmospheric satanic work of Dark Ambiance with a sinister touch in the use of the vocals and guitar work.

I implore you to check out Inquisition back work! Dagon is a master of riffs and I love the lyrics he writes. A complete mystical and celestial journey. All of their work over the years is solid and continously builds upon the old and reinovate themselves into something new to our ear.

Oh! Please disregard the naysayer's who think Dagon voice sounds like Popeye... His voice is very unique and different for BM. For me it put's me into a trance like state.. ah. Mixed with the guitar and atmosphere. Perfect experience. Sounds as if he was awoken from a one thousand year nap and is secretly telling us the divine satanic stories of old.

Greetings.

You have a nice eclectic taste in music.

Dead can Dance, Inquisition and Deströyer 666.

Funny how their latest offerings (Inquisition, Deströyer 666) in 2016 were very enjoyable.
