They are wild 鸳鸯 (yuān yáng), the symbol of true love and loyalty in Chinese culture. I took these pictures in a Beijing park last week. How do you call these birds in your language?
During winter, all birds near my home turns into fluffy balls. It's not mating season, so they obviously don't care how their plumage look like 🤣 how many species of them have you seen?
